We seek to hire an enthusiastic and qualified Elementary School Teacher. To instruct Chinese/other classes at our private school; prepare syllabus and class materials; hold parent conferences & other duties.

POSITION TITLE: Elementary School Teacher (Mandarin Chinese)

POSITION DUTIES: Teach in a private school setting and in a Chinese immersion program levels of Mandarin Chinese and other subjects/classes appropriate for elementary students; prepare and create syllabus, curriculum, class materials,
quizzes, tests and report cards; instruct students in the appropriate academic, practical and cultural context; engage in periodic student assessments to monitor learning progresses; provide individual tutoring for all topics and subjects; and hold parent conferences.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT: Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics or Education is required. 24 months of prior experience as a Mandarin Elementary School teacher for private or public schools in the U.S. is required. Fluency in writing, speaking and communicating in Mandarin Chinese.

RATE OF PAY: $72,550 per year.
